2004 Noble Late Harvest

2004
Noble Late Harvest (375ml bottle)

Season
9.5/10
Exceptional, long hot summer, cool nights. Growing conditions were so good that several rows were left to enable the Noble rot, Botrytis cinerea, to develop.

Description
A fragrant array of exotic and dried fruits including figs, dried apricots and Andromeda dates are set against a background of mandarin with a distinctive sweet botrytis aroma. The palate is intense and luscious with butterscotch toffee, Manuka honey and zesty lemon/lime and mandarin flavours. The finish is tart with a slight bitter-sweet tang.A harmonious and hedonistic wine that is deliciously sweet and smooth.
