A difficult season with a cold spell during flowering and ripening interrupted by rain.

 

Description
Characterised by a naturally occurring wild yeast which was allowed to initiate the ferments, imparting a wonderful and distinctive honey-suckle character to the wine. An excellent luscious Gewurztraminer that exhibits beautiful floral and mixed spice aromas similar to the great wines of Alsace. The palate is ripe with rich honeysuckle and citrus fruit backed by a distinctive natural botrytis character The finish is off-dry.
