Inaugural vintage
Season
7/10 Typical Gisborne season, variable, light frosts, warm, mainly dry ripening period.
Description
Aromatic, wild and exotic fruits and spices with an off-dry finish. Golden in colour, luscious aroma of lychees, melon fruits and scented honey. Immense fruit sweetness accentuated by pineapple and mandarin orange yet the finish is quite dry. Delicate spicy accents of nutmeg and vanilla.

2004
Indian summer
Season
9.5/10 Exceptional, long hot summer, cool nights. One of the best seasons for many years enabled prolonged ripening and a late harvest. Fully ripe grapes with intense flavour.
Description
A much broader, fuller wine than the 2003 requiring longer maturation prior to release.
Golden in colour and exhibiting luscious aromas of lychees, melon fruits and scented honey. Aromatic, fruits and spices with intense fruit sweetness, yet finishing drier than would be expected. Tropical fruit flavours, accentuated by pineapple and mandarin orange to shine through. Perfectly balanced with delicate spicy accents of nutmeg and vanilla.

2004
Noble Late Harvest (375ml bottle)
Season
9.5/10 Exceptional, long hot summer, cool nights. Growing conditions were so good that several rows were left to enable the Noble rot, Botrytis cinerea, to develop.
Description
A fragrant array of exotic and dried fruits including figs, dried apricots and Andromeda dates are set against a background of mandarin with a distinctive sweet botrytis aroma. The palate is intense and luscious with butterscotch toffee, Manuka honey and zesty lemon/lime and mandarin flavours. The finish is tart with a slight bitter-sweet tang.A harmonious and hedonistic wine that is deliciously sweet and smooth.

2005
Wild ferment
Season
6.5/10 A difficult season with a cold spell during flowering and ripening interrupted by rain.
Description
Characterised by a naturally occurring wild yeast which was allowed to initiate the ferments, imparting a wonderful and distinctive honey-suckle character to the wine.
An excellent luscious Gewurztraminer that exhibits beautiful floral and mixed spice aromas similar to the great wines of Alsace. The palate is ripe with rich honeysuckle and citrus fruit backed by a distinctive natural botrytis character The finish is off-dry.

Season
8/10 Good conditions with warm summer temperatures and moderately cool nights. Grapes noted for their intense spiciness.
Description
The wine displays a character quite different to previous vintages. Intense spicy characters of ginger all-spice and vanilla with lychee fruit typical of a great Gewurztraminer.
